Hot-dip galvanized angle steel
Hot-dip galvanized angle steel is also called hot-dip galvanized angle steel or hot-dip galvanized angle steel. It is to immerse the angle steel after derusting in the molten zinc at about 500 ºC, so that the surface of the angle steel is attached with a zinc layer, so as to achieve the purpose of anti-corrosion. It is suitable for various strong corrosive environments such as strong acid and alkali mist.
Process: hot-dip galvanized angle steel process flow: angle steel pickling → water washing → immersion in plating solvent → drying and preheating → rack plating → cooling → passivation → cleaning → grinding → hot-dip galvanizing completed.
The thickness of the galvanized layer of the hot-dip galvanized angle steel is uniform, up to 30-50um, and the reliability is good. The galvanized layer and the steel are metallurgically bonded and become a part of the steel surface, so the durability of the coating of the hot-dip galvanized angle steel is relatively reliable. . The raw material of hot-dip galvanized angle steel is angle steel, so it is classified the same as angle steel.
Cold galvanized angle steel
The cold galvanizing process is used to protect metals from corrosion. For this purpose, a coating of zinc filler is used. It is applied to the surface to be protected by any coating method. After drying, a zinc filler coating is formed. In the dry coating Has a high content of zinc (up to 95%). Suitable for repair work (i.e. during repair work, only where the protected steel surface has been damaged, it can be reapplied as soon as the surface has been repaired). The cold galvanizing process is used for the anticorrosion of various steel products and structures.
Cold-dip galvanized coatings are mainly anti-corrosion based on electrochemical principles, so it is necessary to ensure sufficient contact between zinc powder and steel to generate electrode potential differences, so the surface treatment of steel is very important. Before spraying cold galvanizing, mechanical rust removal (sand blasting, shot blasting, etc.) should be selected to make the steel surface cleanliness reach ISO 85O1-1 Sa 2.5 level, which is equivalent to GB 8923 Sa 2.5 level. Its text is defined as: "After the steel has been mechanically derusted, the surface has no oil, no rust, no scale and other dirt, or only slight traces; 95% of the steel surface is impacted by steel shot (sand), exposed The luster of metal."
For another indicator of surface treatment quality - roughness, different cold galvanized materials have different requirements for roughness. In the construction instructions of Zinga, the average roughness Ra=12.5 is required, that is, the roughness Rz=55-75 microns. In the construction instructions of "Strength Zinc" and "Robaru", the requirements for roughness are slightly lower, Rz=40~60 microns.
If cold-dip galvanizing is used as a separate film, the surface roughness can be controlled to be slightly smaller to ensure the thickness of the cold-dip galvanized coating; When the thickness is greater than 180 microns, in order to ensure the adhesion of the entire coating, the surface roughness Rz of the steel should be greater than 60 microns.
